What is the overall system depth?

The DS-LEDUNV has a depth range of 69mm – 90mm (2.70” – 3.53”). Please add this to the depth of the display. Check carefully to see if the attachment point on the display is recessed. Peerless-AV can supply a line drawing upon request.

Do I need to cut the extrusions to length?

Yes. Each order will arrive with a line drawing. Please reference the drawing for the cut to length dimensions.

How do I determine where the templates should go on the wall?

Each order will arrive with a line drawing that will provide the exact location of the wall template in relation to the top and side of the viewable image.

How do I determine the correct template length?

Each order will arrive with a line drawing that will provide the template length. Please make sure the template modified properly since a new template will be needed if the template is cut too short.

What is the easiest way to create a flat plane across the face of the mount?

The simplest method is to shoot a laser level that is parallel to the wall and a few inches proud of the aluminum extrusions. Set the extrusion at the nominal depth adjustment position and place an object on the face of the extrusion that will sit flat; a cylinder such as a cup works well. Mark the laser line on the object and then move the object to all of the depth adjustment points, adjusting the depth until the laser is on the marked line and the entire mount is on the same plane.
